The Yale Club of Boston is continuing its tradition of service during the holidays, covering shifts at the Y2Y Network, the nation’s first youth-led youth homeless shelter. Normally staffed by undergraduates, the shelter is always in need of volunteers to work in their kitchens during school breaks. We're looking for volunteers to prepare, serve, and clean up after the evening meal, clean the space, and assist the shelter staff. Register below.
We will be in touch with registrants with more detailed logistics and instructions. Volunteers should read the Y2Y Volunteer Handbook before their shift.
Y2Y is located in the basement of First Parish Church in Cambridge, right across from Pokeworks and Taiyaki NYC x The Dough Club - Cambridge. Parking is available on-street or in area garages. The shelter is within easy walking distance of Harvard Square (use the T Red Line, Harvard Square stop).
Volunteers must be over 21 years of age. This volunteer site and activity are not handicap accessible.
