Service Opportunities

Yale Day of Service

Each May, the Yale Day of Service attracts hundreds of local alumni and friends who participate in many activities that help local causes and strengthen our links to our community and our fellow Yalies. The Yale Club of Boston (YaleBoston) hosts multiple service events to celebrate the Yale Day of Service in May and coordinates service events throughout the year. Visit the Events Calendar to explore volunteering opportunities. If you have ideas for other service events or initiatives, reach out to service@yaleboston.org.

Volunteer with YaleBoston

YaleBoston is run by volunteers. From our events to communications, technology, and financial management, we are always looking for help. What interests you? We would love to work with you to find an opportunity for you to contribute to our community. Reach out to events@yaleboston.org with ideas for events or president@yaleboston.org if you would like to get involved!

Interview for Yale

The Alumni Schools Committee (ASC) is a network of alumni volunteers who share a passion for Yale and conduct interviews on behalf of Undergraduate Admissions. They are a crucial arm of the application process, providing the admissions office with color and detail to fill in the picture painted by each student's application and serving as ambassadors for Yale to the students they interview. To join the ASC and assist with the interview process for prospective students, please visit the ASC's homepage at asc.yale.edu.
