Volunteering at Lexington Community Farm

  • Lexington Community Farm (Lexfarm) 52 Lowell Street, Lexington (map)

LexFarm is a non-profit working farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture, farming education, and food access. We typically volunteer with them during the Yale Days of Service in May. This fall, we’re going to help them with greenhouse cleaning and preparations! Wear work clothes and boots, and bring work gloves (optional) and a water bottle. Plan on getting dirty!

  • Ages: Bring your family! Volunteers must be 12 and older. Children younger than 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All volunteers must register and sign a waiver of liability, which acknowledges the inherent risks posed by volunteering on a working farm. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the form.

  • Parking: There is a small lot at the farm entrance. If it’s full, you can park on side streets. The farm is near the Minuteman bike path at the Arlington-Lexington border.

Space is limited; please register by Thursday, November 7. After registering, please complete the volunteer waiver form(s) for LexFarm.
