We’re bringing the tradition of Camp Yale to Boston! “Camp Yale” is the week before school starts that is filled with social and extra curricular activities - the final hurrah before the official school year begins. On Saturday, September 5, all young alumni (graduates of the past ten years) are welcome to join us for our version of Camp Yale: mingling, lawn games, and light refreshments on the Esplanade.
We will meet at Fiedler Field on the Charles River Esplanade. The field is next to the Night Shift Beer Garden and across the lagoon from the DCR Hatch Memorial Shell. A useful reference point is approximately 47 Mugar Way, Boston, MA 02114. The Arthur Fiedler Footbridge is the closest and easiest pedestrian entrance. It crosses Storrow Drive near the Hatch Shell, and from there it is a short walk along the Esplanade to Fiedler Field. There is no public parking directly on the Esplanade. Attendees should plan to walk, bike, take the MBTA, or park in a nearby public garage.
Tickets are free for dues-paying members of the Yale Club of Boston and $10 for non-members.
