Celebrating Our 160th Anniversary

  • Omni Parker House 60 School Street Boston, MA (map)

Please join us for the Yale Club of Boston’s 160th Anniversary Dinner — our oldest and most cherished tradition, dating back to our very first gathering on January 29, 1866.

Like that organizing dinner, this year’s celebration will take place at the historic Omni Parker House. This Boston landmark is renowned as the birthplace of Boston Cream Pie, Parker House rolls, and the term “scrod,” and as the site of John F. Kennedy’s Senate campaign announcement and his marriage proposal to Jacqueline Bouvier.

We’ll gather in the hotel’s gracious Alcott Room. The evening will begin with a festive reception from 7 to 8 pm, with a cash bar, and continue with an elegant dinner, featuring classic New England fare and the hotel’s iconic Boston Cream Pie.

The Parker House is a short walk from the MBTA’s Park Street and Government Center T stations. Limited valet parking is available at the hotel, and there are other nearby parking options at 1 Beacon Street and Post Office Square. The hotel ensures accessible routes from its public entrances to its front desk and function rooms; to address specific accessibility needs, please contact the hotel directly at 617-227-8600.

This event is exclusively for dues-paying members of the Yale Club of Boston and their guests. When registering, please indicate if you are bringing a guest and note the entrée selection for each attendee, including any dietary restrictions.

Tickets are $75 per person for members and one guest; please register by Friday, January 23.
