Each fall, the Yale Club of Boston gets together to welcome new alumni and Yale-affiliated newcomers to Boston. It is a relaxed, fun evening to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and strengthen our vibrant Boston-area alumni community. This year, we’ll gather once again at Night Shift Brewing’s Esplanade Beer Garden on Thursday, October 1 from 7pm to 9pm.
Your ticket includes two drink tickets, valid for any of the wide selection of beer, wine, hard seltzer, or soft drinks, and pizza, in addition to the always great Yale company and camaraderie.
The Esplanade Beer Garden is near the Hatch Shell, between Berkeley and Clarendon Streets along the Storrow Lagoon. Use the Dartmouth Street footbridge for access across Storrow Drive.
Please note that there is no parking at the venue. There may be some on-street parking in Back Bay; the Boston Common Garage on Charles Street, between the Public Garden and the Boston Common, is a 15-minute walk and could be another option.
The Copley station on the MBTA’s Green Line is a 7-minute walk away.
Tickets are $30 for dues-paying members of the Yale Club of Boston and $35 for non-members. If you’re a recent grad, remember that you qualify for discounted membership.
We’re looking for two volunteers to help checking in guests and handing out drink tickets. What do you get in return? Free admission! Email events@yaleboston.org if you’re interested. First come, first served.
