Join us for the Yale Club of Boston's annual summer barbecue! From 4:00 to 7:00pm, we'll be serving food from Blue Ribbon BBQ and playing lawn games at the American Legion Marsh Post #442, a riverfront venue less than a mile from Harvard Square.
The barbecue is one of the Club's largest annual events and consistently our most intergenerational. Alumni of all ages and current students come together to swap stories of their respective times at Yale, forge friendships over food, and watch a lazy summer afternoon on the Charles drift into evening.
If driving, please park at the Buckingham Browne and Nichols Upper School lot across the street. There is a crosswalk connecting to the American Legion. If you require accessibility assistance, please let us know (events@yaleboston.org) so we can plan for designated parking spaces in the small American Legion lot.
We are looking for six volunteers to help set up before the event, sign people in, and/or clean up after the event. Volunteers get free admission and will be assigned on a first come basis. Please email events@yaleboston.org if you’d like to help.
This event will take place rain or shine. A cash-only bar for attendees 21+ will be available at the venue. Bringing your own alcoholic beverages or having them delivered is not permitted.
Tickets are $25 for dues-paying members of the Yale Club of Boston, $35 for non-members, and $15 for current Yale students (link for Yale students). If you would like to bring a guest, you can purchase an additional ticket in your order. So that we can place our catering order, ticket sales will close on Friday, July 24.
