Holiday Volunteering at Y2Y Shelter

$0.00

The Y2Y Network provides meals and overnight shelter for young adults in need in both New Haven and Cambridge. Normally staffed by undergraduates, the shelter in Harvard Square is always in need of volunteers to work in their kitchen during school breaks, and the Yale Club of Boston regularly commits to staffing a few shifts during the holidays. This December and January, we're looking for volunteers to prepare meals, clean the space, and assist the shelter staff during the following time slots:

Saturday, 12/30 Dinner (6:45-9:15pm)
Monday, 1/1 Lunch (10:00am-2:00pm)
Friday, 1/5 Dinner (6:45-9:15pm)
Sunday, 1/21 Dinner (6:45-9:15pm)

You can sign up for a shift on this page. If all the spaces are filled for a given shift, you can contact service@yaleboston.org to be added to the wait list.

If you would like to volunteer with Y2Y at some time other than the shifts the Yale Club has committed to, you can sign up as an individual volunteer here!

The Yale Club is also staffing a shift at the Harvard Square Homeless Shelter on January 19th – sign up here!
